Job Description
Better Living (www.betterliving.co) is a health store/wellness clinic that specializes in dispensing professional and retail brand supplements as well as providing a high level of customer care/service. In addition, our clinic provides a variety of holistic services including Naturopathic consultations, holistic nutrition, live blood cell analysis, Iridology, osteopathy, physio therapy, massage therapy and more. We are currently looking to fill a part/full-time permanent position (approx. 35 hours)
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate has extensive health food store experience (ideally in a managerial position)
- Experience with inventory control (counting and placing orders)
- A sound knowledge in nutrition, homeopathy and herbal medicine
- Knowledge of retail and professional supplements
- Computer skills (composing emails, blogging, and social media)
- Proven organization, communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work 3 weekdays (10-7) and Saturdays (10-6)
Responsibilities include:
- Helping customers with a friendly and positive demeanor
- Actively promoting clinic services and booking appointments
- Merchandising, inventory control and stocking shelves
- Keep the store clean
- Actively taking initiative and keeping busy during low customer traffic
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
