Selenium + EĀ contains two extremely valuable antioxidants, organic selenium and natural vitamin E, synergistically combined for maximizing their potential in the prevention and management of cellular free radical damage. Selenium is an essential component of glutathione peroxidase, an enzyme which reduces toxic hydrogen peroxide from within cells. Glutathione peroxidase is lacking in individuals with jaundice, schizophrenia, diabetes, alcoholism and cancer. Selenium + E is indicated for cardiovascular disease, including hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, arteriosclerosis and congestive heart failure; for inflammatory conditions, alcoholism, schizophrenia, jaundice and manic depression; and for cataract formation and premature aging. Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopheryl succinate) 200 IU
Selenium (as selenomethionine) 200 mcg
Non-medicinal ingredients:
Cellulose, calcium phosphate (1:1), stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silica
