TrueView
All symptoms can be linked to an imbalance in the body and TrueView is a questionnaire that gives us insight into the causes of these imbalances. As a nutritional practitioner, this is a helpful tool as a guide and used for confirmation.
There are 3 parts to the TrueView questionnaire that provide us with the necessary information. They include:
- Nutrients (including vitamins and minerals)
- BodySystems
- Chemicals/Toxins
The client is given a questionnaire to fill out and then the practitioner does the calculations to determine the clients needs. The chart below is an example of a part of the Nutrients test results:
The results are then analyzed by the practitioner and explained as part of the nutritional consultation, covering specific concerns such as:
- Weight loss/Sugar balance
- Digestion/Elimination/Detoxification
- Skin irritations
- Allergies/Sensitivities
- Insomnia
- Lack of energy and focus
- Overall health
Upon receiving this information, our holistic Toronto nutritionist can recommend a diet plan, as well as exercises to try in order to achieve your specific health and fitness goals. These guidelines can help you make better choices about your foods and what you should be eating with each meal.
Aside from equipping you with a good eating plan, your nutritionist will also suggest dietary supplements in order to remedy certain deficiencies you may have. Note that these are not medications, but instead help you get your recommended daily allowance of different vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber, amino acids, and other nutrients.
Meeting with our Certified Nutritionist, one-on-one can help you better understand nutrition, as well as help you navigate the sometimes confusing world of supplements. We will discuss specific needs and concerns that you have, and may also suggest certain testing and bodywork in order to gain deeper insights into your overall health.
